Hello all,
Please allow me to introduce myself: my name is Suzanne Bratt, and I will be sending out the weekly SASgov updates - as well as other communications - for at least this summer. I hope that you’re having an excellent summer so far - and congrats to those who walked this past week!
Congratulations as well to the SAS team that won the Head 2 Head competition at Gradfest this year. I saw an impressive trophy to that effect on the second floor of the Grad Center - your names will be engraved on it soon
Please read on for some brief notes. If you’re interested in Phillies tickets, make sure to buy them today! There are several left for Wed., 5/27, but only 4 for the game on Friday 5/29!

Both games tickets will be on sale at the GAPSA office ONLY @ 4-6:45PM. (2nd floor of the Graduate Student Center). TODAY (May 21st) is the last day of ticket sales! Make sure you buy your tickets before they sell out!!!

Location: Tequila’s; 1602 Locust Street
Tickets: $40 (a value of $84) includes 6 different tequilas and three food courses. Max 2 tickets per Penn ID. Available online starting May 14th at gapsa.ticketleap.com
Must be 21+ with valid Penn and 21+ ID.

Through Thursday, May 21 (today!), the Center will be open 9AM-7PM. On Friday, May 22, the Center will close at 3PM, and will remain closed for the Memorial Day Weekend. It will reopen with summer hours on Tuesday, May 26: weekdays 10AM-6PM; closed weekends.
b. SUMMER 2009 DISSERTATION BOOT CAMP
When: Weekdays, May 29 - June 12; Graduate Student Center, 3615 Locust Walk
Tickets are still on sale – $20 at the Grad Student Center
