Penn Professor Philippe Bourgois – “Righteous Dopefiend”
An anthropological and photographic study on the world of homelessness and drug addiction in the US, told through the eyes and voices of those on the streets. Bourgois and photographer Jeff Schonberg followed two-dozen heroin injectors and crack smokers on the streets of San Francisco; this is their story.
